Meet Kalaxia; the force behind Carbon & Stars. A trailblazing artist: streetwear designer, singer-songwriter, and budding author, who journeyed to the edge and returned “on a mission from God!”  

After a near-death experience that shattered everything, she thought she knew, Kalaxia like a phoenix, emerged from the ashes to rebuild. Did she let that experience break her? Heck no!  It rebirthed her.   “And Just as carbon (the building block of life;) transforms into diamond, through immense pressure, and darkness, over time.  The soul is forged the same way. Until you become who you truly are. Precious”.

“My thing is, infusing garments and art with positive vibes, words and images. I’m reversing everything negative and turning into positive.  I’m conscious of what I'm doing. And making this process wearable. It’s cool to give 'the soul' a bit of air time and swagger; outside the parameters of religion”.
